This Saturday’s Artist: Sweet Fever!
More about the artist:
In just two years Sweet Fever has gone from basements and bars to festivals and international stages. Formed in early 2018, Derrick Wesley (vocals) and Jake Kimble (bass) envisioned a thunderous show with scorching guitars and angelic harmonies. The group took flight with the addition of Nolan Brown (guitar) and Nick Amend (drums) touring the southeastern states and earning respect in Music City.
In spring 2019 the band released its first EP, Heat Wave, and reached national audiences as support for Colony House, and for Craig Wayne Boyd at CMA Festival. Weeks after the biggest shows of the band’s young career, the guys found themselves aboard a plane to New York City as the one of three global finalists in the Hard Rock Cafe International Battle of the Bands. The band finished out 2019 strong with the release of its second EP, Ale Lounge Pt. I. Ale Lounge Pt. 2 was released in early 2020 with support from Nashville’s 102.9 The Buzz and Lightning 100.
